problem with ACT clutch & pressure plate

I installed a set of ACT street clutch and ACT heavy duty pressure plate. Well, with the clutch pedal depressed all the way in, the clutch is still bitting somewhat. I've adjusted the small rod in the clutch pedal assembly every which way I can....same result. I started the car in gear and with the pedal pushed in.....the car moves forward. Does anyone have this problem? Thanks.

It sounds like you may have a problem with the clutch release mechanism. Hopefully you made sure the the release bearing snapped into the retainer ring. It may be that you just need to open up the access hole and use a long screw driver to push the release bearing into the retaining ring. You should also check that the clutch actuator is seated on the release fork properly. If neither of these things work, try bleading your clutch.
