Primary Boost Problem, Need Input...
Problem, very little boost (couple psi) on primary, hit transistion point and it shoots up to where it is supposed to be.
Did a little troubleshooting...
My CCA dosen't seem to want to work properly. I can turn the car on and it pulls in like it is supposed to but as soon as the car is turned off it returns to the out posistion. I am running Simp. Seq. so I thought my check valve had **** the bed causing the CCA to go open soon as I got on boost, I go to pull the check valve off to do a suck/blow test and when I pull it off the vacuum chamber still had vacuum, this was 15 or 20 minutes after I had last started the car. So that ruled out the bad check valve and bad vacuum chamber.
So am I looking at a bad CCA or perhaps a lazy solenoid? I would think if the solenoid was bad I wouldn't get vacuum on the CCA at all... I am guessing a bad CCA but I am not sure why yet, the thing is that the rod comes out soon as I turn the car off even though there is still vacuum in the VC.
Any input would be appreciated. If you need any more info let me know.

if your cca isnt working properly then you could have a few problems you said you checked your check valves and they worked fine...so it could be your pressure chamber the one by the alternator...make sure its not losing air, pull the hose off of it and make sure and see if you hear that wosh noise...if thats fine...then i would check you vacuum chamber but you said that was fine sooo...what boost are you actually running its very important...if you cant find it, the solenoids in the rats nest as usually the problem they tend to stick and stay open....now you said your primary boost was the problem...i believe but someone correct me if im wrong isnt the cca apart of the secondary turbo?...
Also if you have had a viton or silicone hose replacement for all those old brittle ones, make sure that your restrictor pills are still in the turbo pre control line and the wastegate actuator line, located below the intake by the primary turbo.. you should feel them in there if they are...otherwise that is a good place to start....
if you feel the need you can use a mityvac and test each solenoid to make sure the correct amount of psi can flow through it and also release without failure

Also, switch your BOVs for a test run and see if the boost behavior changes at all.

I worked the CCA actuator a few times manually and it seems to have fixed the problem, it must have just binded up. Will try to get some lubrication on it to make sure it dosen't happen again.
