Hey all.. Well i finally got my car running to potential but after a few weeks of occasional driving I notice a little puff of smoke out the exhaust when pulling out of gear..say coming to a stoplight.......i suspect it is my secondary turbo as the primary looks and feels pretty good when i took the intake off. I was supposed to have rebuilt turbos w/ this motor but have always suspected I got ripped off by the builder from an inside shop source...although the motor is strong..saw it go together...needless to say i am now having legal issues w/ this guy..but back to the prob. @ hand..
First off I know its not coolant....Levels are fine no sweet smell. I know its not fuel burnoff...(greyish blue in nature).. From a cold start i can warm the car up and not get anything even when revving the car to redline. It only starts showing up after driving for a while(load on turbos).The turbos are still making great power and hold 15psi all the way to redline..No smoke while on the throttle at all.
I believe oil slips through when the turbo rests and the shaft vibrates. I guess i will pull the intake side off to the rear and try to investigate that side....
