pressure chambers job??

hi ive been looking at the vacuum hose diagram and comparing it to mine and i realised the previous owner has removed the pressure chamber and pluged off both ends of the vacuum hose.

what does the pressure chamber do exactly? should i put another one in?

It supplies pressurized air for some of the solenoids. Is your car sequential or non-sequential?

everything seems like its sequential except for the missing pressure chamber and the hoses that are usually used for the charcoal cannister being routed elsewhere.
