Hey guys so long story short after going to see a movie came out started the car and my windows no longer work and they are stuck in the up position. I checked all the wiring the window is getting power all the way to the drivers side switch module so okay I thought the switch went poof so I swapped the module from a car that had working windows, still no dice. I know the motor is still good because if I attach a battery with some wires to the motor the windows will still go up and down. I also took the switch from my car and attached it to my friends car and it still works. So my question is if the wiring is getting power all the way to the switch and the switch is working then what could it be?

 

Im not sure but the idiot inside me would think that it might be the wires that run from the switch to the motor!

This is probably the simplest electric system in the entire car, if you cant figure it out then........................ wow

but now that you have been sufficiently made fun of, check the continuity between the points circled in red. If its not that then a Jedi master is determined to prevent you from feeling the wind on your face
