post-motor/5sp conversion problems; no start & pooling fuel

well, i just wrapped up a fairly large job. the nice thing is that every piece that i put on this car came from the SAME donor car. here's what i put in it;

18k mile motor (5sp car)
-smog removal
-pullies
-rats nest/solenoid removal
-stock injectors/rails/lines
-braided OMP lines
-true twin conv.
Manual trans
5sp driveshaft
manual pedals
Guages
-coolant temp
-boost
Power FC and Cmdr
manual engine harness

various unrelated upgrades to brakes, trans, etc.

my problem is the car will NOT start w/ foot off the pedal. the car floods while cranking. raw fuel is pushed into the exhaust and drips at both ends of the mid pipe. i have fuel pooling on the ground and white fuel vapor coming out the exhaust.

when i crank the car, no sputter untill i floor the throttle. If it does start, it wont idle on its own. it has a hard/consistant miss, spews gray/white smoke with raw fuel vapor. if i back off the throttle and let it try to idle, it dies out. on failed starting attempts, i can hear the fuel dripping onto the ground After i release the Ign key.

i used this writeup for the under-dash wire modification to allow the engine to communicate w/ the chassis electronics;
https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...25&postcount=1
i followed it to the T, except where i jumpered the clutch saftey switch together so i can start it w/o the clutch being depressed.

On the PFC commander, the inj DC jumps around during cranking from 2% at WOT to 9% or more when i release the pedal. the Injector maps are all at 100 except at the higher boost levels. those values dont exceed 110. this map was tuned in Ft. Lauderdale for This motor with these peripherals.

im really out of ideas here. ive been working on this for 13 hours straight since last night. i want to see this car drive down the road...

lol... the Map sensor and tps were both hooked up and reading fine according to the PFC.

on the sensor check screen, the ONLY thing highlighted on there was the Fuel Temp sensor. i dont know how important that is.

the plugs, actually, looked to be in great shape, just slightly rich appearing. both front and rear rotors had spark and obviously fuel.

guess what i did... i pulled the connectors off the secondary injectors and lowered the rev limiter on the PFC to 4000rpm. i started it up and it sounded PERFECT. it idled on its own, didnt pour fuel, didnt smoke, didnt even SMELL bad. it revved cleanly and smoothly all the way up to the self-imposed 4000rpm rev limit. so it now drives around like a stock car with no issues related to the fuel problem and it starts just fine.

so something is causing the secondaries to either hang open, static... or to batch fire with the primaries. any ideas?
