Post Mortem

Motor had 9k on it - 2mm seals. I was running 18psi when it let go. Front rotor went for a change. Housing, Irons and turbo have no damage.

Ah that sucks,i'm sorry to hear that..Especially with only 9k miles on it.Were you running 18 psi on pump gas?

Yep. 18psi on pump. Pretty much the limit I would go on pump.

(maybe to far for the engines that I put together..)

Shawnk, the general consensus for years now has been that 15psi is the max you should go on pump. Anything past that is pushing it...

I tuned it. It definitely was not an AFR issue. It is most likely timing as I am still learning it (slowly or possibly not at all).

Plans are to put it back together again and turn it back up to 18psi

Shawn, 18 psi on pump alone is too much. I run 18-19 on pump, but with my Aquamist 1s system injecting windshield wiper fluid after 10 psi as added insurance
