Is it possible to interchange them?
Thought I had. Okay, driver side FD seats are rarely in good shape, but the passenger seat is usually in good to prestine condition. Obviously the seat cushions are different, but what about just the reclinable back? Could a guy take the reclinable back and seperate it from the seat cushion off of a passenger seat, and transfer it to the drivers side and it fit? The backrests appear to be the same from driver to passenger side.
Just a thought I had as it is EASY to find good passenger seats, and this would solve the problem for expensive new seats or putting new skins on as the passenger seats are a dime a dozen.

Don't think it will work. The side bolster won't match up. It would look a little weird because the strap that holds the seat belt would be on the wrong side.
I think it would be best to buy aftermarket skins in the long run.

I've done pretty well piecing the interior back together at a low cost and was just trying to dodge buying new skins. All well, can't win them all. I'll do this next winter (new skins).
