Porting Wastegate Question

I'm thinking about adding a midpipe soon when I get new turbos. 2 questions:

1) If I port the wastegate and still keep my main cat for a while, will that affect anything?

2) Where can I get my wastegate ported and how much would it cost?

Thanks in advance.

1) No
2) a machine shop, probably around $30-$50

Its not the porting of the wastegate that needs instructions... just hogg it out but taking the turbo's apart to get to the wastegates is what you need instructions / someone else to do it for you
