pop-ups won't go down

They go up when I turn on the lights but they won't go down. I can get them down manually but not with the overide or by turning off the lights. They come back up when I turn on the lights again or use the override but turning either off and they own't go back down. Any ideas?

I found the problem. The retractor relay wouldn't shift to the off position. I swaped the relay from the TNS in and they went right down. Now I'm off to get a new relay.

Well if it's only happening on one side it's problably the connector to the motor on that side. The relay is in the front relay box which is under the front cover. It's labeled Retra relay. To check the relay turn off the car remove the relay replace it with the TNS relay (They are the same) And then use the light override to force them to go up and down. If it works fine then your relay is shot so put, the TNS Relay back and go to Mazda for a replacement one.
