Whom do you see selling FD in 2025?
People that are buying the car because of the hype and then very quickly realizing how expensive it is to own and then trying to get out from under it. They'll drive it around for a few months and then "part ways". The cycle will continue until there is one less FD on the road. It's super annoying
People who realize the car is cheap plastics and that they could get german premium v10s for the price
Im glad i bought one cheap, cus now i could never justify buing one for the current prices

"Long-term Owners Taking Profit"
No long-term owner is taking a profit on an FD, unless "profit" ignores inflation and opportunity cost and insurance and mods and maintenance etc.
I bought my FD in 2004 for $17k. That amount of money invested in the S&P 500 (with dividend reinvestment) would be $120k now.
