I would like to hear more first-hand reports from those who switched to Evans NPG+ and whether or not it solved any cooling problems on their cars.
I am quite familiar with Evans' purported benefits and marketing hype, and I've read many of the threads here on cooling system theory... but those threads inevitably turn to theoretical bickering between the believers and non-believers.
I suppose this could be a poll to discourage debate...

zullo,
I'm not use Evans, but I've never had a heat problem on the track (or road) yet. I do have the shark mod and the miata thermoswitch but I'm also still using the stock radiator.
I really don't see the need for Evans unless you are running an FMIC which is blocking a lot of air to your radiator.

Well I'm routinely getting up around 240+F during hard track sessions (and blew a turbo coolant line hose last weekend after the car sat / heat soaked).
And this is with a new Koyo. I replaced the thermostat, but the old one seemed to be functioning properly upon inspection...

Evans NPG+ close to one year 3000 miles.
No embarassing flatulent noise from the coolant filler neck as the car is shut off after a drive.
No electrolytic corrosion via a voltmeter that I would consider harmful.
No worry about pressure cap not holding pressure; I had seven different pressure caps, none of which held the rated 16 lbs. for longer than 6-9 mos.
Cost is a concern but I think it's worth it.
