I'd like a new bumper cover and would be real happy to see something in urethane along the lines of the '99 nose without the license plate hump. Someone in Mazda should be made to eat their fingers for having done that to it.

I dislike the combat-style fish-mouth look, and I like splitters like on the Mazdaspeed GT-C. I'd like a bumper cover that will look okay on the 3rd gen without adding an entire body kit. Stillen did a nice bumper cover for the 2nd gen Eclipse/Talon, and their first one for the 300 ZX was nice, too.

If they're not going to copy, then something along the lines of the FEED Type II. Larger oil cooler/brake ducts, along with a larger central mouth for the IC/radiator. I do like the 99-spec, but the cooling ducts just aren't big enough, IMHO. My choices for influence would be:
1)FEED Type II
2)RE-Amemiya Facer N-1, AD-GT side skirts, complete with the carbon front splitter (this seems to be the most functional kit)
3)99-spec Mazda OEM minus license plate holder
4)Panspeed Type III

I believe that's the new R-Magic front end, not the FEED Type III. Somehow I mistakenly thought it was the new FEED too...strange that TWO would think that! Must have been some subliminal message in one of the Japanese RX7 magazines, LOL.

Or a subliminal message from RX-7 Fashion which labeled it the Feed Type III and stuck it in the same sub-section as the other Feed bumpers.

Hey, whaddya know. Cork Sport has the same front end on their web site, and it's labeled R-Magic Type III.

I have the oem 99 front. Its in the body shop right now getting the license plate holder shaved off and filled. Then the car is going in for full repaint in either porsche silver or toyata liquid silver and to have the 99 wing put on. Should be done by MADS.

I agree with MaxCooper - nothing too busy or Veilsidey. The Feed Type2 nose has really nice lines, as does the newer mazda stuff.

... and the Mazda sideskirts:
