Where can i send out my manifold to be polished and cleaned? Im in the middle of going non seq. and im having some down time so i might as well do something to my car while i have the UIM off.

Try your local Harley Davidson Dealer. If they have a custom shop out back, they should be able to do it for you. Those custom bike dudes can do some bad polishing jobs on metal parts. Maybe get out the yellow pages and look up chopper shops too. They'll get it done real quick and have it looking nice and smooth.

 

Also, if you leave the throttle-body bolted to the UIM, they may treat it as one piece and polish both pieces for the same price (that's the deal I got at least :)

It's definitely polished pieces...but I'll take that as a compliment. :)

 

how much did they charge you to polish the UIM and alternator?

I had all the other pieces (in the link above) polished at the same time...I think it was around $200 for everything (or was it $300) ...this was 3 or 4 years ago. :)
