Polished stock wheels

I am considering polishing my stock wheels to make them look chrome. I was wondering who all has done it and what the procedure was to do it. I have a friend who will sandblast the wheels if needed for free! and I can get them polished for 25 a wheel if the finish is off the wheel so just wondering if i need to get the wheel sandblasted or not. also the caps are plastic , what are some tips to make them look polished ?

sand blasting is definitely a god idea, as it will make the polishing process much easier. The factory center caps are plastic, but I think some "chrome in a can" spray paint might get them to look close enough to the polished wheels. You might be able to get the caps chromed if you can find someone in your area that can plate plastic.

Good luck!
