Unhappy Please need help with possible water pulley slipping

In the middle of changing WP pulley. Im only putting on the greddy WP pulley and wanted to know if the water pump will slip at high RPMs. I have the ALt pulley but dont want to put it on. Will not putting on the bigger ALT pulley affect belt contact to the greddy WP pulley?

PS Anyone know the size belt I should get?

There is going to be very little contact patch on the wp pulley, but people have been running that setup for years without problems. You can run the alt pulley as well, it's not going to hurt anything. Serial # on my belt is 5PK780. Hope that helps.

My experience is that the ALT pulley affects my idle and volts coming out. Everytime I hit the brakes and turn on the radio the lights dim. I didnt want that. So Im hoping that the WP pulley can just be used

Yes it can. I know of at least one person just using the wp pulley with no problems.
