Please identify this Trust FMIC
This is a Trust FMIC I recently bought while on a trip to Malaysia. Has anyone got any idea on (i) how to put the pipes together (ii) whether this is a V-SPL or R-SPL model and (iii) whether it's a twin core or 3 core?
As you can see from the photo it's quite a bit narrower than the other FMICs but it's got a thick 4 inches core and is almost deep like a M2. The advantage is probably it doesn't block all airflow to the radiator like the other FMICs but because of its height, it looks like only the lower part of it is exposed to airflow when installed. If anyone is using this, please let me know how it performs.
Instead of mounting it vertical where airflow is suspect for the above reason, I'm actually tempted to modify it to fit like the M2 or in a V mount configuration but this would require cutting up the end tank a bit. What's your opinion?

honestly? I think the V-mount thing is okay, but I think you should mount it up front, because its not to big and shouldn't hinder your water temps to badly... You could also mount it betwen the radiator and the motor and have it parallel, but you'd have to cut into your hood to make it effective.....Try it in stock position first, you'll probably like that alot...If your still using the stock door stop it'll greatly improve intake temps
