Plastic Vacuum Hoses
I went to Tri-point Engineering (4) months ago to get my engine fixed after I had a small fire cause by the Pulsation Dampner going bad.
Well anyway, after my engine was repaired I noticed I had plastic looking (see thru) vacuum hoses instead of the black stock hoses. I was told they were silicon & they're a new type of hose. These hoses have no ties on them like I had before the fire, but they assured me that these hoses will not pop off.
Can anyone let me know if you've ever heard of these types of hoses, or am I just being hosed!

Looks like the previous owner had these hoses put it. Yeah, they are silicon and yes, they are an improvement over the stock ones. Supposedly they won't crack or become brittle. I don't have any ties on mine either.
