Are the pills in the Wastegate and Precontrol the same circumference?

Are the pills in the Wastegate and Precontrol the same circumference? And if I do the home depot dealwill it solve my 8 - 5 - 8 boost pattern? Is the pill a possiblity?

NO, not the same size.
They are probably not the same size. Was you r car ever at a 10-8-10 pattern?

I had a simillar problem I just did the Non-sequential mod and I get a nice 10 psi. my pattern before the mod was 8-5-5.

The pills are not the same size if stock ,changing sizes will change the pattern , but if all is stock something else may be wrong

Does anyone know if I swapped them by accident (wastegate and precontrol) when I had the turbos rebuilt would I get the low boost 8 - 5 - 8?

the funny thing is that I don't even see any pills in the precontrol line when I took mine off...???!!!

remember that latter model turbos had the small orfice built into the nipple that the hose goes on , look and see. I do not know when this started.

Pills are inside hoses. See pic above. You such be able to feel them inside these hoses.

I found this out after I had replaced my hose with silcone hoses.

Make sure you replace them with 6mm hoses if you change them.
