Pictures!! (very large pictures)

I said I'd have pictures up when I washed the car, and here they are! Also incuded in the pics is my buddies 91 talon TSi, don't laugh. That thing can hang with my FD.

My engine bay. I know, it's filthy, but hey, look at all the pretty red silicone. Feel better?

This is where the Profec b was installed. I have no idea why there are specs on the underside of the steering wheel cover, but they aren't there in real life, just a camera flaw I guess.

And the cross drilled slotted rotors, not veiwable are the stainless steel braided brake lines, and Hawk HPS pads. I know the rims are dirty too, I'm workin on those.

Don't you just wanna pinch its cheeks? It'd look good with a FMIC, don't ya think?

Thanks. Yeah, the IC is going soon. I need a power FC first though, so it might be a few months off yet.

Very clean, the way god and the head designer intended You're missing the touring front airdamn. You should replace it or put an R1 lip on. The R1 lip makes the car look much more aggressive.

Yeah, about the airdam. I'm pretty positive the car got hit in the front on the drivers side before I got it. Bumper is slightly misaligned on that side, the windshield washer fluid pump did not work (same side) the fogs have some crazy wiring (always on when headlights are on, switch makes no difference) and that black plastic wheel well cover was missing from the drivers side (hence the filth under the hood). But nothing showed up on carfax.com, so maybe it's all a coincidence (yeah, right).

If you're talking about the rims, thats brake dust. I scrubbed them for about an hour (15 mins each) just before that photo was taken (you shoulda seen 'em before!) I'm working on it, but it ain't easy.

Nice looking cars 911GT2. Try some simple green or engine gunk (comes in a white and orange spray can at parts stores) on that engine
bay!

that must be one bad dsm if it hangs with your car. i have a 92 talon tsi making 16 lbs of boost with an intake, exhaust and larger intercooler pipes and my wife drove right by me like i was standing still in my '94 7 with a pettit intake, hard intake pipes and manual boost controller... and my wife doesn't like to drive fast, so you know there was more left in the 7 while i was wringing the **** out of the talon.

Thanks. Thats the plan for sunday. In fact, I was checking autozone's website to see if they stock Simple Green as you were typing that.

The Talon is baddass. Especially from a launch. We haven't raced yet w/ the streetport, but when I had my old engine, and a blown secondary (it still made 10psi, non-seq) he hung with me. The TSi is pretty highly modded though, every bolt-on you can think of, just awaiting a 16g turbo (capable of 19-22psi) and he'll be running 12's. Damn AWD.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Usually when car guys refer to oxidation, they're talking about the car's paint. I agree that his engine bay needs to be cleaned, but you pointed that out in a very roundabout way.

911GT2, car looks nice man. I would recommend a catback and '99 spec painted tails to make it look even nicer . Also, Meguiars makes a rim cleaner (comes in a pink bottle, can't miss it) that works very well on brake dust.

Last thing--you might want to consider relocating the profec b to right above the steering column. Use the provided bracket, and it doesn't obscure the tach, yet provides very easy access to it for boost control.

Again, lookin' good man

Hey I never even thought of that. But the dials on it are flush with the face of it, so "bumping" one would be really tough. That being said, I still don't wanna do it.

But I like the stock look of my interior (minus the boost gauge) and I don't really wanna have all kinds of electronic gizmos staring at me while I drive. It'll be odd enough having the PFC over there drawing graphs and **** while I drive.

Thanks for the complements and tips. I haven't had the car for 2 months, and the only time I got to drive it was during February and March , in New England. If you've ever been here in the winter, you know that you don't wanna be cleaning your car. But I'm working on the rims, and engine bay is being cleaned tomorrow.
More mods are on the way, but money is more than tight right now. Planned for the immediate future is Power FC, radiator, rx7fashion high flow, RB dual tip (again, I like the stock look) , and some type of IC.
