PICTURE REQUEST: Actuator Rods Positioning
Does anybody have a picture taken upwards from underneath the turbos?
I have read a lot of posts mentioning the actuator rods in my search for my boost issue and although i can visually inspect them, i don't know where the levers are supposed to sit at rest.
Also, what changes occur in these rods when the car is either KOKO or Running?
that way i can check them visually.
Cheers!

The turbo control actuator arm should move out when the key is turned on (and there is pressure in the pressure tank, vacuum in the vacuum tank) and move back in when the key is off. The wastegate and precontrol should not move unless you're making boost, which isn't going to happen much when someone is under the car

so, that linked image, is that where they should rest? i potentially need some adjusting if so!

In that image they are all disconnected from the arms. When the key is off, the springs in the actuators should hold the valves shut tightly. The proper 'adjustment' is to get about 1-2mm of stretch to set the arm on the pin. This is about 1/2 the width of the pin. To verify this, you have to remove the e-clip and pull off the arm to see if you have 1-2mm of stretch.
