the apexi n1should ave apexi engraved onto the tip, maybe both side of the tip i cant remember now. You shoula also be able to tell from the discoloured welding. Becareful there are MANY copies out there, even i bought some from the US (made in china), they were like $15US and looked nearly identical apart from no apexi etchings and no jamsa badge. Just because it has a jasma badge doesnt mean its street legal. My muffler is jasma apprved but it still failed the safety inspection here. The japanese are allowed to have the slip on silencers which makes them legal. My exhaust recorded 103db!!

WHAT. i thought JASMA was like the CARB or BAR of japan. Mine has an APEXI badge and JASMA on it. Well its laser etched with APEXI and a business side metal card on the bottom of JASMA. i think you got the right thing. Jason wouldnt send you some knock off. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Paying for something and receiving something totally different is not going to work.
