Ah yes...I can picture it now...you're grinning from ear to ear.

It's like when I saw my son born, can't stop thinking, "whoo hoo...I did that!"

Cool

Hey 93BlackFD, call that **** of Rob at "Pineapple up your *** Racing" and put your car on the phone.
Let him tell Rob a few.
I'm happy for you.
I know that feeling well too, when you can validate what you have been saying.
Where are the haters now????

screw the haters, half of their cars don't work, most of them are under age and can't afford these cars, or are overaged and afford these cars to justify their existance

i could care less what some jackasses on the internet think of me, nobody that knows me in person gives me ****- i guess it comes with the territory

my main focus now is fixing my fuel settings and getting her on the road pics/vids if i can borrow a decent camera

Who is going to tune your Haltech? And which did you get? ( If there is another thred about it lead me to it please) I am thinking of going with the Haltech and getting rid of the glorified Safc,.....I mean Power FC. I don't like it at all. ( And i am single turbo, but alot/most out here are still twins.) Does it go BRAP....BRAP.....BRAP!!!!( your engine)

How do you run an engine off of the car? Do you hook up the full intake/exhaust/fuel/spark system?

But bravo 93blackfd... kudos to anyone who DIYs.

I couldnt find anywhere in this thread or the ones linked from, as to where you bought your rebuild kit? Do you have a good link?

yeah, i called steve while he was at the superbowl (i think, maybe just a big party, it was loud)

he helped me get some basic settings in enough to start the car...totally out of his way

try getting rob golden on his cell phone....or try getting him to help you tune anything besides a carb

That's what happens when you catch him half crocked at a superbowl party!! Glad to hear it started OK again. And once more I am impressed with the speed of service.( Almost like they care! )

it's more the solid motor mounts that causes the vibrations

i have the greddy SP, it's one of the quietest...

Going from the AST to the overflow tank........ Are you going to wrap up the wiring in heat wrap or other material? And did I miss it but did you powder the pulleys yourself as well?

i was trying to figure that out too rich. nothing to ste....

btw brian, well done with everything. i'm kinda looking forward to having my motor go out again. its from pineapple (i cant believe i gave them money) but its running strong as hell. that bridge is what i want to do next too.
i just read another thread on the rotary aviation apex seals which are supposedy 700% more flexible and 85% stronger (they say they're unbreakable, but nothing is unbreakable, even bruce willis had water). you have the corner seals too. that would be a beast of a motor.
hrmmm......maybe i should just buy a core and work on it while i'm waiting for my pineapple to grenade....

brap, brap, brap...where's the clip??

stay tuned for clip, making arrangements for a video camera

the writing in the dust is "Nothing to Steal, HA!"

something like 13 cars got broken into here in one night...i had my cwest lights out, tranny out, engine out, radio out, pretty much gutted the car....and stock rims put on

someone wiped off the dust to look into my hatch but i guess they didn't see anything they wanted

i am going to zip tie the harness out of the way of moving parts until i get the water and propane injection all hooked up like i want and then I will come back and wrap it

the motor should be pretty stout
