I got the intercooler from www.fatboygarage.com. Great customer service. It's actually advertised as an FD v-mount but you have to do some custom work to mount it. Thanks again guys.

Thanks for the insight. I guess that automatically means that you couldn't possibly get it off Ebay.....

Would really like to see your pics of the Vmount setup. Get them pics up!

Yeah but i dont think itll flow as good through the IC(compaired to other vmounts) because the lack of angle.

I think it looks good. Especially for it's price. Plus there are Parallel Mounts which are pretty populer in Japan. (and that has no angle.)

I could definetly get some brackets made. Are you talking about the radiator brackets or the intercooler brackets? I could make a few sets and see how people like them.

I just made a call to the guy that made them for me. He had a drawing with all the dimensions and where to mount them on the intercooler. If he has them on file still I will just post the drawings. It shouldn't cost too much for you to get them made yourself if you have the exact dimensions you need, which will be in the drawing. If you'd rather me get them made I can but it will probably be cheaper just to print the drawings and take them to a machine shop. As soon as I get the file from him I will post them.

Doesn't a v-mount setup work much better with a vented hood though? If I go the v-mount route I would definetely go with a hood change as well.

v-mounts definitly work a lot better with a vented hood but its not a must have. all that air needs somewhere to go.

Don't think so. The engine bay pics shows it was either black or montego blue. Regardless, it's a nice!

Here are the pics guys. A couple of suggestions. We made mine out of 1/8" thick stock. The brackets could be a little thicker, say 3/16". Also, the length is currently 4". The room is there to make that 5 or 6 inches. Remember, this is just what I did. I'm not saying its the best way or even the right way, but it is a way. I've had mine done for about a month and I love it. I'll try to get pictures of the radiator brackets up soon. Good Luck. P.S. It is not an original CYM.
