Pics of my car. Finally done after several months.

I build it back up from a frame.

I am selling the wheels and stering wheel and some other stuff so I can try and keep the car. Go check it out in the FS section.

Mods... Large Side port, HKS T04E Kit, greed 2 row Front mount Intercooler, 3 Core radiator and SS coolant resovoir, Power FC, HKS Twin Power, OS twin Plate Clutch, Every Defi Gauge known to man and a bunch of other little stuff but that basically sums it up.

I'm boosting .08 or about 12psi (a guess on the psi, dont use it...) built it for the long haul not a blaze of glory. Every single mod was done "making the car last a while" in mind. (Except the Big port )

The last thing I have to do is install the Air conditioning condenser and I will be finished.

how was the fitment of that front end? And more importantly can you hook us up with one? The pettit one seems to vary in construction and fitment has been an issue sometimes.

It is a "custom" dark candy red.
The effect only really shows at night when it passes the lights.
Gets really dark when there is no light and bright red when it comes in the light.

On the bumper the fitment is not perfect but I am happy.
I cant ship stuff like that for less than twice what it is worth.

Dont say that outloud my denial will hear you and become self aware.

Yes, the FD is now the proud owner of a Jesse.

Interesting choice of engine bay colors. I was going to ask where you got the RX-8 pieces but then looked at your location. Do you have any more pics/angles of the shift **** and interior?

Glad to hear that yet another person has built up an FD from nothing.

R-Magic once told me when I first bought my car, that "you will never be 'done' with your car.... one day you want to sell it.. another day, buy more **** for it"..

You know.. its been two years since I met R-magic and every word he said that one night, is all true.. I have thought about selling it... AND I have more **** in my house than furniture.. SPOautos will back me up on that..

Oh... Jesse,
Your car looks DAMN good.. Hopefully One day.. I will put all the **** I bought and get it on and painted.. by seeing your car, I know it could happen.. Thanks for the hope!!

Thats a beautiful sight laujesse, it's very nicely done. Mazda should look at your car for inspiration of the new 7.

This is probably gonna sound like a total newbie question, but do all Japanese FD's have the little flip up armrest where your defi boost controller is?

Negatron, Ghostrider. Same color as a Dr. Pepper can. Oddly enough, Steve drinks so much of the stuff he should have a Dr. P IV to his veins

Very nice looking car. I like the accents you've added with the RX-8 parts. What emblem is that on the front there?

That is an optional ashtray/armrest. It fits in our FDs, I have one. It is nice, giving you something padded to rest your elbow on.
