great looking car, but I'd stop eating the Dunkin Donuts.

No need for extra unsprung weight, and too many donuts causes your a$$ to not fit in the seat properly!

again, great looking car!

congrats

They put heavier wheels on your ride while you're eating, or what? I can't see how donuts add unsprung wieght..

As in, if he eats too many donuts he'll get fat. Fat = unsprung weight. Capiche?

It was a joke.

Nice ride, I have one question though. . . .since you have a cold air box covering your intake what is the point of the fresh air headlight cover ?

Thanks for the kind words!

i think there is some confusion. I think mainly cause of my verbage and the fact that it has taken me 3 plus years to get some decent pics on the forum (thanks again mahjik). My car is the red car with the rb dam....all the pics are of my car from saturday. Some are at the meeting place we had for our drive up to a lime rock event (hence the three other rx7s). Some are on lime rock.
Someone asked if i bought the car stock...i replied yes...it only had 15k miles on it when i bought. I paid $21,300 in may of 2000. I think i stole it...thats from a dealer too. There isnt a scratch or ding on the car.

It now has over 35k miles. And as far as mods go..well it has....intake box, full exhaust with mp, tuned power fc for 15psi, m2 med ic, 1300 cc inj, cosmo fuel pump, koni yellows with eibachs, pettit front anti sway bar, mazdaspeed short shifter, cusco tower brace (my first mod...how cute), ACT street strip clutch, #9.5 flywheel, and the rb dam. It does have a new paint job cause i side swipped it after only 2 months of owning it....dont drink and drive....i leanred my lesson. But as you can tell the paint is first rate. I had the whole car done with a three stage paint job. I didnt post my mods cause most people know me here..i think anyways.

The reason for the headlight cover:
I loved the way the headlight cover looks and assumed that it would bring fresh air across the engine so thats the reason why i bought it. I still think it looks great but i dont think its functional. I got it for only $75 bucks new...list is $150 so i am still happy with the purchase.

emblems:
My mazda emblem is in the right spot...but i took off the "rx7" emblem. As far as the silver one....i have no idea. You are very perceptive!

Thanks for looking!

Most of the "vented" headlight covers I have seen in person don't vent at all. They are just for looks.

Car looks great matty - keep up the great work!
