Picking my car up Sunday!

I'm so excited! Worked out a deal on a 93 black/red leather that a forum member has worked on and vouched for. Car is stock except for a DP and some silicone hoses.

I can't wait! I'll post some pictures when I get it, here are some that i have already!

First mod: Yank the Bose system, and put on a set of Eibach Pro sport springs, I'll probably put some koni yellows on it too. It may need a cat back, working on a deal with WVRx7 on that, also I'm gonna do the AST, but after that, I'm taking it easy until I get a PFC.

Congrats.

I am going to try and take care of him with some of the plethora of parts I have accumulated over the years.

very nice car youll be so excited when you get it

this is probably the best time youll have with the car and a close 2nd is when you are at 8k rpms daily lol

take it easy on the mods make sure the fluids and brakes and suspension are ok first...do the ast then move on. the bose is bulky but it sounds really really good for what it is.

That looks amazing! Both the car and the interior are in great shape! Its hard to find red interiors and even harder to find good examples. Congrats!

Thanks for all the kind comments

I'm paying $13,5 for those that asked, he wanted $15K originally. The car has something like 76K miles on the chassis I think, new re-man put in last spring by WVRx7 and a mechanic friend of his. I don't know that I'll ever be able to repay him for all the information and help he's given me in my 2 year search for a FD.

Oh, and the red interior is stock. I think in 94 Mazda slightly changed it so that the door panels were black too, so not as much red. I've found that you either love the red or hate it. I love it

And don't worry guys, I've done lots of research, might be my first FD, but I will not be foolish with it.

Good buy. The red is not my favorite I guess its the contrast that it has with the dash where it just stops with the red and becomes black. I wish it were just the seats and left everything else black I think it would look better then. Still though beautiful car and great price.
