Pic of my brother's FD

It's been awhile since this was brought up but this is Cruser's car that got stolen from a forum member.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=93261

My brother bought it and is finally done putting it all together. We need to get it dyno tuned again and it will be back on the road kicking some serious ***. It had 461rwhp when it was last tuned. With a much bigger FMIC it should put out more, not much though.

I'm glad to hear that it had a happy ending. I didn't read the whole post. Do you know what eventually happened to that f**cking thief?
If that ever happened to me, and I caught him? That guy would be headed to the trama center before the county jail. Either that or the morgue.

Plead guilty. 240 something hours of community service. Slap on the wrist pretty much.

BTW the car looks pretty sweet! I'm sure Ryan will be happy to see it like that. Maybe we should arange a meeting with his Viper See what that 460 rwhp can do!!

Talk about a slap on the wrist? Isn't stealing a car grand theft?????

I think the actual charges were for posession of stolen property, but the arresting officer told me it is essetially the same as grand theft auto, in terms of punishment.

Regardless, he plead guilty to a felony and got community service.

I agree 100%. I am very impressed how the car turned out. It now has the looks to match the performance. We have already planned to meet up. I secretly hope my old car beats my new one. It will definately be interesting. Good job guys!

Yeah, bought one last week. It is in the process of being shipped over from Maryland right now. It is 97 blue/white stripe GTS.

I actually wanted to keep this hidden from this board for obvious reasons, but Brad let the cat out of the bag. I can assure everyone this car will be stored in a much more secure place than my FD ever was. I have also moved since my last car was stolen, so I don't think anyone knows where I live now. It sucks when you can't trust your own so called friends.

That's one sweet FD.
If it shows up on blocks I had nothing to do with it.

That was the one thing I always missed with the FD. From an initial dig the car felt slow until the turbo spooled up, then look out. I will miss the sounds of the turbo, though. Nothing like hearing a turbo spool up and feeling yourself getting pushed back into your seat harder and harder the louder the turbo screams. I do think I will enjoy getting back to the rumble of a piston engine, never could stand the sound of a rotary.

No it wasn't that bad, but I want my idle to instill fear into every person I come across, not instill confusion. I remember one redneck asked me once if my exhaust was supposed to sound like that. ****** dumbass.
