They don't hold up well to heat, specifically the one for the LIM to the engine block.

Exactly. You can get away with the uim one, but the lowers melt over time. I really don't see a reason to run them. You'd get better results by ceramic coating the manifolds.

I know the lim to engine one is no good which is why I'm asking about the uim to lim one.
Plenty of threads I've read ppl have had no problems with the uim ones after years of use.

Well ceramic coating isn't going to do anything for heat transfer from the Lim to uim, so that's the purpose.

Just as Ihor said. This isn't an N/A car where most heat is coming from the block, you've got a snail cooking everything in the engine bay. It's all going to heatsoak.

I appreciate the feedback guys, I would still at least like to test it out for myself first hand and see the results though in the name of science
Are there any places selling these currently?

Phenolic used under carbs, etc, wasn't insignificant in thickness. Dunno how thin they can supply it, but it won't be as thin as the stock metal gasket, so you might find issues mounting stuff from the upper manifold being higher.

If you simply must do it, Cut to Size Plastics at Yennora or Eplas at Seven Hills can probably supply and cut...I personally think it's pointless in this application.
