I believe that's part of the under-dash wiring harness connections. It is definitely not part of the PMC. If you just bought the box and received that wiring, ignore it. If you removed it from your car and need to put it back in, start looking for open connectors between the ecu and where the harness comes through the firewall.

It looks like that might be the harness that was installed as part of the fan-switch recall. The one that would allow the fans to run after the car is shut off.

Don't hold me to it though

Yep, that's the fan recall control module and the wiring harness to plug it in. It's not part of the PFS box.
