PFS/Purple Box, datalogger - question

This came with my car but it's not plugged in. The previous owner said it's a datalogger and supposedly this has different maps for the ECU. I think this is some sort of piggyback ecu management and I want to know if this is comparable to the power FC and if i am only going to put aftermarket intake/dp/exhaust, is this suitable?

Thanks for helping a newbie.

The PFS PMS is an older style ECU. It was quite popular until full standalone ECU were available. If your power needs are modest, it will work just fine. However, support for them is hard to find.

I can offer you more info if you want - other wise go straight to the source and call Ray Wilson at PFS. He knows the software better than anyone else.

PFS has the manuals on their website if im not mistaken. And yes, it would work fine for what you want to do. It is good for pretty much anything with the stock turbos as far as I know.
