PFC pretuned
Well after doing the research and with advise from this forum I am convinced of the PFC's capability with the FD's.
The question now is where can I take chances on getting the best pretuned PFC cuz I'm sure the base map will not be appropriate for me.
ANY SUGGESTIONS( my max being $1300)

You will be able to get a safe fuel map, but it won't be quite as good as a proper tune. So if possible, try to find a tuner at some point to optimize it when you have the mods set up the way you want.

I blew my engine last year with an M2 ECU. I got a PFC with the new engine and was given a "safe" map with it. The mechanic threw in an extra 5% fuel just to be sure.
I had this nagging feeling about why my engine blew so, just for making myself feel better I got a wideband to monitor my AF ratio. Found out I was running way lean at the top RPMs at 10-11 psi boost. Turned out to be my stock fuel pump running out of gas on top. This with my power level near 300 WHP.
So, don't accept anything safe until you actually have it tuned to your particular car and equipment or just buy a wideband. It's probably one of the best investments that an FD owner with mods can make.
