pettit racing unlimited and emissions test

Hi there!
I'm running a pettit racing unlimited ECU and next month I'll have to pass the statal technical revision and smoke test. I'll have to pass it with all stock pieces (stock exhaust and intake). The problem is; will be the same passing the test with stock ecu or with the pettit one? i suppose that I'm running richer with the pettit, so am I contaminating more although I will run the cat and the precat? Besides, can I run the pettit ECU on a stock engine? I'll do it only for around 50 miles only, so I hope there's no risk at all...

The vacuum areas of the map which would be tested during emissions are identical between the Pettit and the stock ecu.

What Rynberg is saying, is that the pettit ecu only runs richer than the stock ecu at high boost & rpm.

Just to back up what they have said, I ran a Pettit ECU on my FD with DP, 3" H-F Cat,catback and intake and passed emissions here with flying colors. You should have no problems.

That's nice! I'll try to do the same with dp and Bonez hfcat, but with stock catback, cos with the 4" Megan Racing one it will be impossible. Hope I'll be lucky too...
