Pettit,and m2 ecu questions
My car is running great with my mods - greddy smic, downpipe, apexi intake,m2 stage3 ecu, rb catback .Is anyone running a hks twin power on their car with mods similar to mine? is it worth the $?

Yes, I run the twin spark with the M2 Stage 3 Mods. It seems to help the power at the high end. I would sometimes get a little bit of high end break up due to running too rich with the M2 Stage 3 ECU and now I almost never do.

ditto, I found out that I had high end ignition breakup during a dyno session. Later, I installed the twin power and ran the car hard, didnt notice a difference until I took the TP out and ran the car again, big difference.

Keep in mind you can't reap the full benefits of the HKS Twin Power unit w/o a programmable ECU, in which you can change ignition settings. BUT, the unit def. does help when installed as is, w/o tuning.
EDIT: Also, just my opinion, but I wouldn't put the money into a light flywheel unless I planned on changing out the clutch, bearings, seals, etc, and prob replacing the 5th gear synchro and any sensors on the tranny that need attention... and prob change the clutch fork w/ the new upgraded (stronger) clutch fork Mazda now offers (same part, diff part number). Point being, putting on a lightened flywheel is a lot of labor that I'd do in conjunction w/ a few other things while the tranny's out....

My fd only has 10,400 miles on it.I understand your point in regards to replacing the (weak ) stock clutch ,T.O bearing, PP.But i dont know about replacing all the other parts that you mentioned. i have read that about 99% of the people on this forum really like lightweight flywheel mod.
