Pettit Charge control Valve

Anyone use it with any complaints? Notice any differences in boost response? Considering this with the Billet BOV and maybe a efini y-pipe.... Any thoughts are appreciated. I did a search for it all i came up with was trouble shooting tips and that was only about 5 threads worth.

Honestly, I would only get this if your current CCA is not working properly. I doubt there is any increase in boost response. Test your current CCA with a Mityvac and if it's working fine, don't worry about getting the Pettit one.
You should get the Efini Y-Pipe for sure though.

I have both the Pettit CCV and the BOV. I purchased the CCV because I was having a very jerky second turbo transition and wanted to see if this would cure that problem before I worked on my rat's nest. The CCV help smooth out the transition somewhat, but the transition was still somewhat rough. I then replaced all rat's nest solenoids with new ones and installed viton vac hoses. Once I changed these items, the transition became silky smooth. With that said, I am certain that the CCV helped but I cannot say to what extent. However, the part is relatively inexpensive and it was very easy to install. While I was at it, I replaced the o-ring in my y-pipe. The BOV just sounds great.

Yah about the CCV im trying to determine if I want to do this or not. To be honest im not to bad at working with electronics or mechanical items. I do it for a living in the Military. However I was very discouraged the first time I tried to remove the UIM and replace some vacuum lines. F#$ked my solenoids up. Also striped the wires out of the plug that goes into the back underside of the UIM, hopin some one in the local forums will make a house call just to get it running right again.
