Question Peter Farrel SMIC fit with a RX-7 Fashion Cold Intake ?

Hey guys, I know that the PFS SMIC duct is designed to fit with the PFS intake. Would it be possible to just cap off that ducting to the intake while using an RX-7 Fashion cold air intake (same as M2 intake) ? I am also running a Hawker Battery, so I'm mainly concerned with the fitment of my Cold air box with the PFS intercooler. Any info. is appreciated.

Just be sure to seal up the hole in the PFS intercooler duct.

My Fluidyne fits fine. You have to be careful to avoid smashing the fan motor wires with the air duct.

My only fitment issue is that the thicker Fluidyne forces the upper radiator hose up slightly and that won't allow the PFS intake to sit as low as it should. It's just barely rubbing the hood at the front left corner.
