I just got my key yesterday, haven't had chance to have it cut yet. Did you get yours yet DamonB?

Actually...do you think they may release a key with the efini logo? That'd be sweet...

It's all metal except the mazda logo is a decent grade sticker...one of those with the clear bubble on top (if that makes any sense). The only thing I don't like about it is just above the Mazda log is the word 'For'. Not sure why they had to put that there, it seems pretty obvious.

Also on eBay from Mazdaformance. Look up "Mazda rotor key blank ", and you'll get it. $40 bucks a pop.

Yeah is it just me, or do Mazsport's prices seem a little high? I was looking through some of the used items they had for sale, and they didn't seem like bargains.

I bought that key last year and it has held up great! It comes from Taiwan, so it takes awhile to receive it.

Update:

The key is the correct one. You just need good key cutter to cut it. I orderd one and had home depo cut it. It only works if you jiggle it. Ouch. I like the key and will order another. I will then have Mazda cut the key from the VIN as others had stated.

My key works too now that it's cut. I guess it is just the guy behind the cutting machine who can cause problems.

I removed the silver and blue toilet bowl emblems in the middle of the key and engraved new fake gold plated emblems with the "M" logo to put in their place. I bet you guys would really like to see that wouldn't you? It looks cool

they did they come standard on 91-95 FD's.

Very Similar to the black key posted above except more rotor shaped with an efini logo.

I'll post a pic 2moro as I have the keys for only my Cefiro Drifta Project today :P

It was raining :P

I'd like to see this. How'd you do the engraving? with a dremel or something?
