Hell... I took 3 trashed Ford Falcons and made one very nice one for my mom when I was only 12..... But, would I want me at 12 driving my FD... ah... NO.
I'll be driving my FD until I get to around 65K miles and then it will just get garaged until my daughter graduates college. No sooner, no later.

Didn't he have the "pimp-*** hair"? Damn... Where's jimlab when I need him..
And no, the whole "young" thing doesn't apply to everyone, however MANY times the younger owners are much less responsible... maybe even more careless. We all know there are old morons too... just less in number.
It is my understanding that 'The One' was never titled or sold to a private owner, and that is does indeed still reside at Mazda USA's main office.
Years ago, in 1992 I found a never-registered, 'brand new' 1980 Triumph TR8 convertible at a Porsche dealer. Seems that the car had been in various British Leyland dealer showrooms across the U.S. and then had been purchased by an Audi dealership that eventually merged with this Porsche dealership. The deal is the car had just been travelling from showroom to showroom, kind of like a museum piece for 12 ******* years! The car had 458 miles on the odometer and literally WAS like new. I asked what it would take to purchase (the orginal window sticker was still on the car and said $11,800) and the dealer told me he wanted $15K for it.....WAYYYYY to much for that car.
Still, it was interesting to see a "new" car that was that old.

turbotuner.com...The car isnt for sale. It probably never will be. As long as Mazda is around, they will have the car. Quit asking about it. Even if it was for sale, you couldnt afford it.
