Passing Tech for a Friday/Saturday night drag

For those who raced in a fri/sat night drag race at the local track what do I need to do to pass tech? I have relocated my battery to inside the cab (inside the storage bin) Can I still race and what do I need to do on my FD to play at the track?? thanks

it really depends on the track, in roswell, nm they dont check anything and in el paso your battery must be secure and if you run slicks you must were a helmet.

I have had tech at firebird raceway here in Phoenix tell me that because I have a battery relocated to the storage bin it must be in a NHRA approved battery box and I need a switch outside the car to turn it off. Now I tell tech that is the stock location and they let it go.

I got in trouble most recently because apparently if you have a roll bar with 5 point racing harnesses, the harnesses are only good for 2 years and mine are more than 2 years old. He said that i wold be fine if it were the stock seat belt (roll bar is only required if you are under 12, and i wasn't that night) , but becuase i have a bar and harness they need to be replaced. Oh, and helmet is requred if you run under 14.

THis was at Atlanta Dragway if it matters
