Passenger side power lock works sometimes....

If anyone has an idea where to start I would appreciate it. Here is the behavior of my passenger side lock for about the past 2 years or so . from inside the car if I press to lock the drivers side door, it doesn't lock the passenger side. This may be the situation for 2 or 3 months, then all of a sudden it will function properly. In the last year it stopped working all together and then last week it would start again, occasionaly working.

when it does start to work, if I am sitting in the car It works consistently, I mean I can probably unlock and lock it as many times as I want. when I get out of the car, close the door, then it will stop working. So when the door is locked the passenger side doesnt work.

so there you have it, sometimes it works other times it doesn't.

any ideas of where I can start looking? Any diagrams as to the wiring of the switch to the passenger door actuator? I know iluvmyrx7 has some wiring diagrams but I cant seem to find the exact one I need.

Also I have a 94, I know some changes from a 93 were made in the wiring, but all help is appreciated.

Any help will be great, thanks.
