Passenger FD Project Seat

Has anyone ever tried to make a FD passenger seat flip up like in the fast and the furious RX7? I have a FD R1 and I want to put my AMP and alarm box down there but I cant seam to figure out how to do it. If anyone has ant ideas tell me it would make a great project.

I'd look into ripping out the whole plastic mold back, recarpeting it, and bolting on some fold down seats. It would also involve (most likely) re positioning the stock speakers...Not a hell of a lot of room, dealing between 2 shock towers, soaping glass back, large amount of exhaust insulation, and drive train room.

I would be interested in hearing from others on this subject too.

If you look at the service manual, there's a decent diagram of the stock seats. You can't just pull the bottom out and be done, there would be lots of work involved, but it is possible (They did actually do it for the movie, it wasn't a CG seat). Wheather or not it will be useful as a passenger's seat when you're done is another story all together.
