Question Passenger Door Handle -Exterior

The top bolt through the exterior door handle is broken off. I noticed that it wouldn't tighten. If you do tighten it up, the bolt (broken 3/4 anyway) will back out of the door. I'm guessing that this is why I haven't been able to get the door handle to engage properly.

Has anyone removed one of these bolts? Are they accessable from the other side or made into the plastic threaded sleeve? If they are accessable, do you have to unhook the cables from the door lock/lever assembly and if so are they hard to get back together?

Thanks

Page s-11 of the manual shows the bolts coming out of the lock assembly, but doesn't indicate whether they are removable or not?

What about super glueing the broken bolt back together? Think that would work?
