Passanger Side window FUBAR???

Ok, I went out today to my garage to start the 7 and bring it for alittle drive ariund the block as it hasn't been out since Monday. I let it warm up for about 15 minutes and then pull itout of the garage. Im pulling out of the driveway and attempt to open the sun-roof and pass. side window, as I always leave the driver sideone down, well most of the time anyways. Everything works but the pass. side window. It won't go down or anything. Neither switch on the driver door or pass side handle will put it down. It worked fine Monday night when I was out cruising around. Any ideas as to were I should look?

Mine does this sporaticly. Usually if I leave it alone for a couple minutes it will fix itself. Usually my passanger side windows goes up slowely. This is a common problem with FDs. The motor I beleave (although I've heard some say regulator, but I dont see how that would make the window go up slower). Anyways, with you it sounds like you might just have a loose connection. Take the door apart and see if something has come unplugged. While you're in there test and see if the motor is getting power with a voltometer. If it is, but its not rolling up, chances are your motor kicked it.

It's also quite possibly the window switch. If the driver's side window switch is flaky, the passenger side won't work well either.

Make sure you didn't bump the disable switch by accident. I did that once and it took me like 3 days to find out why my pass side window wouldn't go down.

Well it was the window lock switch. Im used to it being in lock on my daily driver and still being able to control the windows from the driver side lol. Well it's fixed now, or resolved.

Yeah, I know - it seems like you should still be able to control the pass side window using the drive's switch. That is why it took me so long to figure it out when it happened to me. I'm Glad nothing is wrong with your car and glad I could help.
