The coupling from the y-pipe to the crossover pipe going into the IC (The big rubber connecter from the metal pipe off the turbos to the plastic stock pipe) finally cracked on me. Don't feel like heading all the way to San Antonio just to order this part.

Anyone happen to have a part number I can tell my clueless local mechanic, or happen to have a place online that would sell this? Never thought what seemd such an easy part to replace would end up such a hassel.

 

N3A2-13-247 is the rubber coupling.
have you considered the efini y pipe?

You could get an OEM connector from Mazda, but it will just eventually fail on you again. You need a silicone connector.

If you need something NOW, break out the phone book and look for rubber, hydraulic hose, and gasket shops in your area. See if you can find a 2.75" silicone coupler - they may call it "turbo sleeve". Some truck supply places will carry it as well. Typically they'll just have very thin-wall orange, but it WILL work.

Get a quality silicone connector. $6, and it will outlive the car. You can even pick a keen color .

If you wanna spend some money, get the Efini Y-pipe.

It has a two-bolt flange instead of the hose, and the new pipe also flows better and has a better design. $240, but it's a quality Mazda part and it comes with all the hardware and gaskets needed.

don't you think reinforced silicone is a better part? I don't know where else to get it, but maybe Jason @ rx7 store has some, and some good quality clamps, give him a call.
