parking light source ASAP

I seached for past 3 days... i'm installing a drl kit from hamsar model 70987.
i have already read http://robrobinette.com/drl.htm ... my kit has two extra wires yellow and orange. Orange I don't need as it is hi-beam... yellow i need to connect/splice to a positive parking light source in the engine bay near the battery.

anyone got any pics to where i can splice this yellow wire to parking light source in the engine bay? my wires are short plus i don't want to take them into the cabin.

what i do know is Parking light positive is Red/black wire.

thx in advance...

just tap into the parking light wire going to the parking lights right under the headlights. If you remove the headlight cover, then you should be able to get to the parking light,or you could just remove the two screws holding the parking light in
place

so what you're saying is...if i remove the driver side headlight cover...I should be able to find the parking light wire going to the back of the car to the back parking lights.? The thing is... there are so many wires...its hard...even after i looking at the wireing manual I can't seem to find one...

all the parking lights are tied in together. The parking lights that u have in the front of the car only has two wires going to it. Just take the twoscrews off the parking light(assuming you still have the front stock bumper) and tap into them right there. You can get to the wires alot easier if you take the hedlight cover off to route your wire(s)

... First of all... Thanks mr. International for the help... but now im even more confused ... i thought i had it figured but i think we are not thinking alike.

here is the diagram/instructions my drl kit came with... my bumper isn't stock its 99 spec.

Here is what i know how to do for sure...(which is the easy stuff) hehehe
From the numbers in red... i know 2, 3, and 4

I don't know if Fd's have "rectangular 4 lamp system" or "2 lamp & Circular 4 lamp system".

I want to change my inner clear lights from the 99 spec lights into drls...NOT the flip head lights

Now... number 1 "yellow wire" is it suppoed to go to the 99 spec light ?
I don't know what number 7 is...the black lil box thingy

I know i'm going to have to use 5 "white wire" to low beam

I don't need 6 "orange wire" as i do not plan on running those small 99 spec clear lights on high beam.

At first i was thinking the white wire would connect to the positive of my 99 spec clear light.

If somone can shine some light on this topic...i'd greatly appreciate it...
