Parking Brake Light?

Hey everyone,

I have a problem with my parking break light. Whenever my car is turned on, the parking brake light would come on, it never shuts off, even when my brake is fully disengaged.

I'm not sure if its this red wire that is coming out from the wiring, but when I opened up my center console to install my turbo timer today,
I saw two wires only 2 of the 3 wires connecting to anything, the brown one to the parking brake, the red one was not connected to anything at all, and the other one was connected to somewhere else.

Anyone know what I could do to stop the light from staying on all the time?
