Park Lights go on after ignition is turned off
Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and the rotary world, so please bear with me. I have a '93 FD3S. When i have the park lights on. i notice the Rear defogger light is on very dim. Of course when i turn it on, the light is bright, indicating it's working. Now when i turn off the park lights, &
turn off the car (take the key out of the ignition), the park lights go on by themselves. THe switch is off, and the lights are still on. One person suggested it's the alarm, but i never had this problem, at first with the alarm, so i don't think it's the alarm. It's really annoying, cuz my battery keeps dying.
One last thing i noticed is that if i have the car on, and turn off the park lights (car still on) the park lights sometimes stay on. If i press the rear defogger on and off, the lights will shut off and on too. And as soon as the key comes out, the lights go on. Only solution was to take out the TNS relay from the relay box located near the intercooler, when i park the car. Then put it back in to drive the car.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Suggestion #1, edit your post to say FD3S, not FD3 before JoeD see this.
#2 Try pulling a fuse for the alarm and see if that works. Never heard of this problem before but I would think it has to do with the alarm too.
