Panel gaps

Is there anything out there that shows what the panel gaps should be? I am putting all my exterior parts back together and having uneven gaps drive me crazy so anyone know?

as a start, the fenders have a hole covered in tape, on each end, and they match up with a hole in the body. i find a socket that fits the hole, which is usually a tapered 10-11mm one, put the fender on, put sockets in each alignment hole, and go from there.

if you have a straight car, and unbent fenders, it'll be perfect.

then you can align the hood to the fenders, and then the lights.

OK I aligned the holes but I can't get the hood/fender gap in spec. The posted link requires 4.5+-1mm but the biggest gap I could get on each side is 3mm.

Can anyone with a stock car measure that gap for me?

I set one side to 4.5 and the gap looked too big and I could see the fender bolts so I am thinking the manual is not correct.
