I respect most of you guys cars and taste ,Im asking for your opinion on the colors im thinking of.Wich do you think would compliment the rx7 more .I WANT FLASHY BUT NOT 2F2F FLASHY... Flame all you want . If you have a color you think i might like then throught it out their but NO GREEN ...

gotta love the Red, i like blue too but the ones that come on the Sprirt Type R's are amazing too.

 

someone here in SD has an FD the color of red#2 . it is really pretty. you shoudl do that.

omg i wanted to paint my car that 1st red, its a metalic candy apple red on the murceilago, mmm if only i could affoard a new paint job.

 

i'd say red #2 with some small pin-stripes of that purple....

 

That red on the Saleen S7 or BMW Le mans blue (Don't get confused with laguna seca blue. M3's came in laguna seca, M5's come in le mans)

that was all the rage in the 70s and a few years later people would just shake their heads and wonder what the owner was thinking when they ordered a metallic orange car...

i like red2 or stock. those colors will age well.

Are you just speculating? Do you HAVE a car you want to paint? If so, what color is it now? Because I have seen a lot of people repaint cars some color totally different than what is on it without doing the whole thing, i.e. inside fenders and engine bay, etc. and that just looks like ***.

Someone had posted a pic of their white FD but you could see it was originally silver in one pic where the hood was up....disgusting!

 

suggestion: Black Cherry or Midnight Blue or Brilliant Black(stock)

Purple, maybe a tad darker. Just do it right which will run you extra cash.

 

if you want flashy that orange would do it. im not a fan of it personally but itd be flashy. ive seen some 7s with a nice dark metalic steel gray. i like those. but you can never go wrong with that red.

 

I say red #2

 

His car is MB 93. the paint will be done right. all the jambs and under the hood but the rest of the engine bay will wait till we pull the motor. He just has to decide what color he wants and he has gone back and forth over about 5 colors for 2 weeks.

 

add another one for red#2...i like how its so reflective. to me it looks flashy but its not trying to be.

 

i love my montego blue, just wish it wasnt 13 years old and faded as anythin

Blueskaterboy has a very simily paint job to Red2, you could probably PM him for pics, he also has a 99spec nose on it.

He has something like "stage 2 candy apple laser red with gold flake" I dunno, just thought I'd help out!

yea red is a pretty bad *** colour even the stock red smacks u in the face in traffic. my bro in law had one with c-west front and veilside side and rear in vr and it got lots of attention, oh it had advan model 5 as well. then he sold it to my friend and bought a 996 must be nice to be a rich bastard. heres a pic of my sisters, mine and his cars.
