Brian...This info was given to me by Allan Densmore who is currently running #1 in his class for autocross.
"Get an extra set of stock wheels and run the 245/40/16 Kumho Ectsa's to start with. They are not the fast set up but they will last you the season.
Alignment, with the above tire size run negative 1.4 camber both front and rear. Toe should be 1/32-1/16 total to out in front and 1/16-1/4 total to in for the rear. Max caster. Do not listen to others about toe out in the rear. If you run 0 toe for the rear you will have a problem with oversteer when autoxing.
The alignments I just gave you can from the national champion years ago in SS. I looked at his alignment set up and for stock it worked well."
I'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything, I just want to know which opinion is correct because I am currently running 245/45/16 tires in the back

I am telling to what I tried, yet when I tired it I had stock suspension setup. My main point is the stock suspension setup is so good, that a lot of people try to make it better but actually make it worse buy adding incorrect tyre sizes or wheel tyre combo. I don't know if Mr densmore setup would work well for the road or not but my handling was definetly much better with 225 50 16 all round. The wheels are borrowed were from my mechanic who also races and when I questioned him about quality of his tyres he lent me he explained the same thing i'm saying. Maybe if I had changed my suspension setup like mr densmore it may of been different I don't know.

I'm a CF and poop smith
holy crap, nah, I'm just joking, its not that bad for going in to a wall/barrior. You just need 2 fenders, a new hood (Vented baby!) and a new front end with sleak head light kit and youll be back on the road in no time
